Movement-Easy Does It
Reframe your perception that a “workout” has to be grueling. Yes, lifting heavy weights is important as we age, but the old adage of “no pain no gain” has long lost its luster. Just move. After two years of marathon training burnout and then surgery last spring, I am perfectly happy to walk in the Park or around my neighborhood. I also love an easy Yin Yoga class. A well-rounded movement routine is what we are after. One that you enjoy and that you will stick with for years to come.
